About the Game

The game takes place five years after the events of the first Borderlands. The destruction of the Destroyer has led to the discovery of a new mineral called Eridium. The main antagonist is Handsome Jack, who has taken control of the Hyperion Corporation. He takes credit for killing the Destroyer and plans to do something even more sinister on Pandora. Players take on the role of one of four new Vault Hunters to fight against Handsome Jack.
